Setting Up Your Family on Steam

I've been trying to get my own kids to try out a variety of games that aren't just the quick free-to-play addiction style of Fortnite, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, etc. and my Steam library is full of stuff that they could try out.

I'm bookmarking this tutorial by Nicolas on the process of setting up your family to share and manage a Steam library, including moving saved game files across if you've been letting your kid use your profile:

The Steam Family option was just announced in beta. It's good to see "indie" companies like Steam try to tackle this. I just picked up a copy of Manor Lords (currently 25% off on Steam as of this writing) that I'm excited to dig into this summer via GeForce Now on my Mac Studio while I try to figure out if / what to get for a gaming PC. I'll see how much of my own ability to hold focus for a deeper game is left after years of being worn down by my addiction to Fortnite's colorful achievement hunting gameplay.
