- Description: A favourite series of mine is back for season 3, with a 4th season already renewed.

Shrinking, on AppleTV, is fast becoming one of my favourite series on TV period. It's definitely got the comedy + heart genre nailed in a similar way to Ted Lasso, which is no surprise given Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein have been involved on both series.

According to 🔄 [MacRumors](https://www.macrumors.com/2026/01/27/popular-apple-tv-show-renewal/?ref=chrisenns.com), season 3 debuts tonight and Apple has renewed it for a fourth season already. I had wondered if season 3 might be the last one given the various storylines that felt like they were wrapping up soon, so I'm curious to see what new directions they take the characters to justify another season.
