# Inside Disney's Secret Sound Lab with Dallas Taylor

I first heard (get it?) of Dallas Taylor through his podcast, [Twenty Thousand Hertz](https://streamlink.to/20k?ref=chrisenns.com), which explores sounds used in movies, tv, video games, and pop culture. It's a great listen even if you're not a podcast or audio nerd like me.

Taylor launched [a YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@dallastaylor.mp3?ref=chrisenns.com) earlier this year where he posts videos of his conversations with audio producers that end up on the audio podcast and it's catnip for any behind the scenes geeks. 

I really enjoyed the [tour of SNL's audio department](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tlmK-QCLthI&ref=chrisenns.com) and when he got to [go inside Disney's Sound Lab](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eOVxMrdJao&ref=chrisenns.com) (both embedded below).
