# Recording an iPad mini Display for App Reviews

Starting with the iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and now the iPad mini, you're able to use AirPlay to send what you see on your iOS device to an AppleTV. Great for using your iPad for [Keynote](https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?grid=9646&id=6PFrOqNV4B8&offerid=162397&type=3&subid=0&tmpid=3664&RD%5FPARM1=https%253A%252F%252Fitunes.apple.com%252Fca%252Fapp%252Fkeynote%252Fid361285480%253Fmt%253D8%2526uo%253D4%2526partnerId%253D30&ref=chrisenns.com) or playing a game on a big screen.

If you add in an extra Mac application called [Reflector ($14.99)](https://www.reflectorapp.com/?ref=chrisenns.com), you can use your Mac as the output device so you can see what's on the iPad on your Mac. Throw in a screen capture program like [ScreenFlow 4 ($99)](https://target.georiot.com/Proxy.ashx?grid=9646&id=6PFrOqNV4B8&offerid=162397&type=3&subid=0&tmpid=3664&RD%5FPARM1=https%253A%252F%252Fitunes.apple.com%252Fca%252Fapp%252Fscreenflow-4%252Fid573279886%253Fmt%253D12%2526uo%253D4%2526partnerId%253D30&ref=chrisenns.com) and you can record videos of your iPad or iPhone which are great for training or reviews.

Add a little voice over and a few title/graphics and you could do a pretty professional looking app review or promo/training video for a new app.
